Maggie Grace was born Margaret Grace Denig on September 21 in 1983. She is an American Actress best known as Shannon Rutherford in ABC TV show Lost. The couple had separated and they moved together with their mother into Los Angeles. Even though she had financial difficulties, her 2001 debut was as Rachel's Room's main character. Following her win of an Young Artist Award in 2002 for her performance of Murder on the streets of Greenwich of 15 year young Martha Moxley as a murder victim, Grace went on to be awarded. Grace Rutherford played Shannon Rutherford for Lost's first two seasons in 2004 as well as sharing a Screen Actors Guild Award (with all the other actors) alongside her. Leaving the series Grace would like to be as a film actress, and had been cast as the opposite of Tom Welling in The Fog in 2005. Part of the Gyllenhaal family, she is the child of filmmakers Stephen Gyllenhaal and Naomi Achs as well as the elder sister of actor Jake Gyllenhaal. Her career began when she was a teenager, playing small roles in several of the films of her father and starred with her brother in the cult favorite Donnie Darko (2001). Her subsequent roles included Adaptation Confessions of a Dangerous Mind in 2002, as well as Mona Lisa Smile (2003). Gyllenhaal's lead roles in Secretary, an erotico-romantic comedy, and Sherrybaby (a dramatic) received her nominations for Golden Globe Award. For the film, she won the Best Screenplay Award at the Venice International Film Festival and was nominated for an Academy Award.
